Sometimes I wish people could experience God without being influenced by His children. We sometimes ruin it.

We ruin it with overgrown, desperate passion.

We ruin it with deafening worry and infectious fear.

We ruin it with minute details and elaborate notions.

We ruin it with tainted love and corrupted desires.

We ruin it.

I understand our flaws. I understand how it may force you to lie back out of our sight. Or cause you to cheapen our efforts to love you. But we are human too. We loose focus sometimes, just as you do. We loose focus and drive. We loosen our grip of the truth. We catch our mouths and hands playing with wild fire.

But it has nothing to do with Him. For when we push you away, it is not Him pushing you away. It is me, alone.

Here's to you.

I escaped Boise for the weekend.

Some could argue that this trip was a disaster.

I would

probably agree, I should have left faster.

I DID get my flu shot.

I DID get my hair did.

I DID see my close friends, but that was rather expected.

But some things died as a result of this affair.

Like a camera...explosion or a key in the rocks.

Ask me a

bout it, I'll knock off your socks.

But not all things were of such disgust.

Jordan and Z helped a young fellow with some things he had lost.

We had a yummy smoothie, rode some fun rides.

We slept in beds together, and talked all through the nights.

Yes, the trip had some ups, most experiences

were low.

We made Jesse really want to be married...like whoa.
